Shazam filmed so long ago and tested multiple times. It's been 3 years since the first..would be bizarre to continue sitting in the can until summer 2023 while Black Adam, The Flash, Aquaman still need VFX work

 

WB has so much next year already with Wonka (March), Barbie, Dune (Oct), Color Purple (Christmas) without these additional DC films

Idk how done Flash is but it moving to August may be a good idea if it's ready and Batgirl still releases December.

Honestly, that would be the best timeline. We need to get Shazam 2 out ASAP with the way these kids are aging out of their roles, and it wrapped principal photography forever ago.

WB has lots and lots more they are fast tracking as well.  They know their schedule is light and reserves are depleted and greenlighting theatrical projects to shoot as soon as possible.

I love nearly all of these moves and think they are healthy.  I personally would have flipped The Flash and Aquaman, but whatever.

The only move I don't think works is Black Adam. It's kinda close to Shazam when an August or September date might be better...? If it's not finished then I guess

I think the separation between Oct. 21st and mid-December is fine.  You go from a Halloween feel to a family Holiday feel.  I think it makes sense.

We've heard numerous times that Batgirl takes place after the events of The Flash, so if that holds water, expect a delay to 2023 for that movie too.
