Wednesday is about 26.5 hours of sales, and Thursday is 5.5 hours, assuming I got the start time of sales right. Though two of the biggest theaters didn't put Thursday showings up until a bit before I counted.

The EA showings I saw have decent sales, but no near sellouts except for one downtown one. They seemed to pick smaller auditoriums, so, I think they're really pushing to have these sellout and build some FOMO among fans.

 

The regular preview showings are only just coming online, so no activity yet. But, seem to be getting the non IMAX PLFs.

 

Weird update on this. When regular Barbie screenings started showing up, it didn't show up on my local theatre as well as some other nearby ones. I figured they were in process of being updated, but, I think it's just that it's not getting advance ticket release for a lot of theatres.

 

Maybe after locking into a lot of screen allocations that have underperformed, they're holding back a bit in smaller theatres (my local is 8 screens, which is one of the smaller ones in the area).
