The Lost City counted today at 11am EST for Thursday, March 24:
 

NY (AMC Fresh Meadows 7): 118 (3 showtimes)
Miami (AMC Sunset Place 24): 53 (6 showtimes)
Grand Rapids (AMC Grand Rapids 18): 22 (2 showtimes)
Austin (AMC Lakeline 9): 19 (4 showtimes)
Tempe/Phoenix (AMC Centerpoint 11): 19 (3 showtimes)
San Francisco (AMC Metreon 16): 129 (5 showtimes)
LA (AMC Universal): 160 (6 showtimes)

Total tickets sold in 7 theaters: 520.
Up decent 70% since Monday.

Comps (both counted on Wednesday for Thursday): Uncharted had 1.062 sold tickets

and Death on the Nile had 359.

I also looked at the Date Night Out show in the AMC Universal and that did fill up nicely too with now 62 sold tickets (on Monday it were 35).

Up very good 175% since Monday.

Comps (all four movies counted on Wednesday for Friday): Uncharted (44.0M OW) had 982 sold tickets,
Jungle Cruise (35.0M OW) had 655,

Death on the Nile (12.9M OW) had 357 sold tickets

and Dog (14.9M OW) had 47 sold tickets in 6 theaters.

Marry Me's (7.9M OW) final presales number was 210.

A very good improvement over the last two days. I would say at least 25M are back on the table judging from my theaters.
 

RRR had today good 179 sold tickets for tomorrow (in 4 theaters).
Unfortunately I don't have fitting comps. Belle (1.6M OW) had on Thursday (= 1 day left for RRR) 64 sold tickets in 7 theaters and the tickets for that movie were a lot cheaper I guess.
The earliest shows start at 1:30pm in my theaters.

For Friday RRR had today also very ok 98 sold tickets (again in 4 theaters).
The Card Counter (1.0M OW) had on the same day 36 sold tickets in 3 theaters and Belle had 1 day later, on Thursday, 83 sold tickets in 7 theaters.

Indian companies seem very fond of flaunting numbers like this. Lot of the songs on Youtube have viewership numbers on the poster. Even trailers have viewership numbers on them

Few weeks ago, the AMC listings were sold out/unavailable oddly. Anyway, 122 tickets sold at AMC between Thursday+Friday.

 

So currently 140 tickets sold here at Cinemark+AMC for Thursday/Friday

 

Interesting, both theaters majority sell the PLF. Maybe because adventure comedy?

I don't really have good comps for this as I tracked Scream, Uncharted and Jackass on just final day. There is a Free Guy comp, donno how well it will fit since it burn nearly 500 audience on WED and probably another 150 on TUE. 

 

Its roughly 22% ahead of Free Guy for THU purely. But its tougher to judge nationwide number for such small number from just 8 cinemas. Let's see what MTC numbers suggest.

 

WED screening probably made $400-500K I guess nationwide. THU may be heading for $2.5-3M. I think $30M+ OW at the moment.

I'm really, really sorry this isn't accurate, but I hope you guys will understand and won't be upset over this. If you want just Thursday numbers, they now account for 331 tickets.

Alright, I'll say this upfront that I really should not have said 100M+ OW was a possibility for this. I've been having sleep issues since DST happened and was excruciatingly tired last night, so I wasn't really thinking straight nor acknowledging the different pre-sales patterns of my newest comps. It was completely my fault and I apologize for creating absurd expectations for everybody. Still, I do think Sonic is on a good path to increase from its predecessor, at least for its OW.
