Firepower
Reviews when? I guess it's supposed to be a lot more audience friendly and a lot less divisive than Francis' passion project?

Hiccup23
My parents are very excited about this movie. I think this will be a crowd pleaser. I am hoping both installments can do over $100M each domestic.
MrHardapple
This looks so good! It will bring back folks to the cinemas that have not been there for a long time.

cinema pal
Quote What’s most perplexing coming from Costner is the uncomfortably long time the film takes to show sensitivity toward its Indigenous characters. We’re well into Horizon before the perspective on Native resistance is broadened to acknowledge that their murderous attacks on new settlements are a direct response to the occupation of their ancestral lands. It’s very confusing to see a Western in 2024 and find yourself thinking, “Wait, so American Indians are the bad guys again?” ehm... Quote The blustery notes of John Debney’s score over the opening title card announce that we’re about to watch A Work of Great Importance. jeez, just chill, mr. critic Edited May 19 by cinema pal

Parasite
Really disliked this. It's overlong, messy and nothing happens (just uninteresting dialogue between random characters) so it just feels like a 3-hours long trailer for the sequel. It's also shot like a TV film and the acting is...uneven. I guess there also might be some controversy over the depiction of indigenous people and women. CJohn
The Saudi will need to fund Part 3 and 4 in full this time around, nobody is gonna plunge money into this like with Parts 1 and 2.
