When this flops how many people will blame no marketing?

Speaking of this, everyone please prepare for an armada of armchair internet businessmen claiming the studio spent $0.00 marketing this just because they personally saw no ads.  I have nothing against Kung Fu Panda, but it happened back in December with Aquaman 2, and it's gonna happen with this one too. But this time we're prepared, good luck.

Yeah I'm not gonna blame zero marketing for this one, first trailer had like 120m+ tiktok views or something like that

I also don't think this is gonna flop though. The market is STARVING for a kids film right now and any doubt about its box office prospects is based in dubious personal bias. Anyone chatting on a forum isn't the primary audience being targeted here. Went through this with Migration too.

I know this is box office website but if this movie ends up being decent and underperformed I’m not gonna be mope about it as big fan of series

we are so lucky to get a 4th movie, nobody really predicted, if it doesn’t get 5th movie oh well

I personally think it will do fine

Is this confirmed? Where did ya hear that. I really do hope you're right. And I hope we get a new theatrical poster with it too. :)

Not confirmed more so wishful thinking haha, haven’t seen a new trailer getting rated, which normally happens weeks before release of a trailer so maybe it won’t

China was such big market for kung fu panda 3, obviously won’t come close to numbers with 4th one. Hoping it puts a respectable number though

It's funny because I remember the $154 million KFP3 grossed in China was considered a disappointment at the time. Many people were expecting much higher given how much KFP2 grossed in a much smaller Chinese market. But now, even 1/3 of KFP3 gross would be considered decent in China.

Won't flop imo. Aquaman 2 numbers for this would be pretty good considering that movie went into crossing almost 500m (and Kung Fu Panda probably has like half its budget at worst while each entry settled in the 500m or the 600m).

154 million just in china just sounds absolutely insane in 2024 perspective hahah

like honestly that’s prob the high end if movie is good of domestic gross for this movie

I know china doesn’t like Hollywood as much as it did in 2016

hopefully because how much emphasis kung fu panda has on culture the drop won’t be so drastic

This seems to be getting little buzz.

Almost every franchise has a date where is just loses it's appeal;peopl;e have had enough of it. (James Bond might be the execption).

This might have happened with Kung Fu Panda. we will see.
