On the Zelda being a massive event this weekend topic: apparently there were lines outside GameStops and certain other retailers across the country last night (pretty sure 00s was last time this happened lmao) and GameStops online ordering has given up this morning. 
 

This will definitely be a great litmus test to see how a massive media event in a different medium does or doesn’t affect box office.

Guardians not even falling on Thursday and then doing $16m today suggests: not much.

I would note that isn’t always true though. He was saying Mario was going to be $215M+ when he was trying to prove a point to BOT on opening Friday.
