no dates for other countries yet, wide release means that it's not a limited run like many foreign movies in the past meaning you'll be able to see the film at most chain theaters anytime during December/early 2024

Yah, I got that. I just haven’t seen any other mention of a wide release outside this thread’s title. Just looking for a source. FWIW the-numbers has it listed now as “limited.”

here's the official press release New Japanese Godzilla Production Announced For December (forbes.com) (side note: don't know why they choose forbes of all places) there's no mention of the release being "limited" anywhere and it's part of a big push for the Godzilla brand in America by TOHO

While there's nothing about it being limited personally, I'd be very surprised if it's wide. I'm not saying it's impossible, but everything Toku or Kaiju that's been coming here from Japan since Shin Godzilla has been limited. We'll see though.

Oh man thats a masterpiece incoming. I love Godzilla as an anti-hero and all, but him beeing a "villain" again like in Shin Godzilla is always a pleasure to see.
