Statistics Country comparisons Which regions prefer Maleficient to SnowWhite most?

Recommended Posts

It's a bit misleading for Australia, the exchange rate then was quite poor compared to 2011.

I agree. I think Australia has doubled exchange rate since 2003. If ROTK did 36 million in 2003, today it would have done about 70 (and that's only if we take into account that factor. Not inflation or 3D)

Who loves Battleship most?

Posted Image

The theoretical values in million $ are the grosses of Battleship corrected for the Hollywood-Blockbuster-market size in each country. This size is determined by the sum of the 15 biggest Holllywood blockbusters of 2011 (local blockbuster are not taken into account) The table is sorted descending by this theoretical value. BS is the gross of Battleship in million $ in each country.

Asia and Russia on top, Australia then Europe, America at the bottom

Thetheoretical values could be interpreted either what would have been America's gross with the same love for this movie or what would this country have grossed had it the same marketsize as America.
