Let’s gooo

600M OS and 400 DOM?

Probably a little higher OS. DOM could fluctuate a little, OW could be anywhere between 100-125m

I think @pepsa just meant OS and not WW gross. Since he said > 600m, I2 OS is not that far off.

Maybe. I was just confused with the bringing up of $1 billion AND Incredibles 2. 🤷‍♂️

Well it has been a while since i have last done this, haven't actively followed the boxoffice since Elemental / Barbenheimer.

so yeah take everything with a sea of salt

That said, currentnly i have IO2 at $420m DOM and $680m, so about $1.1B WW, we only need $140m more to get to I2. So I agree that it's not likely.Anyway I am speculating a lot before the movie is even out. The hold patern next week / weekend will be very important.

its needs a domestic run like 125/480 or something and crazy strong legs OS. Need China and Japan to contribute and that looks tough to me.

yeah China and Japan are the big barriers to that stretch goal.

Yeah DOM has to get close to $500m and OS it needs to have big breakout in Japan / China or South korea, LA is looking like it will match Mario. Europe, Japan and China are questionmarks right now, we need atleast one of those to seriously over preform and like you said that looking very tough at the moment.

125/480 isn’t out of the realm of possibility (similar to Finding Dory). I think something like 430-445m final is more likely. In that case both China and Europe would need to overperform

Without China & Japan probably $500-550M+. No idea what J&C could be.

The thing is there really isn't a reason to think either market will increase much from the original.

You are too pessimistic. When something is a juggernaut, it will do better than what we expect. That has been the norm since I have been tracking BO. We saw that last year for Barbenheimer as well. It did WAY better than we expected during the release week and back then the hype was insane for both movies with crazy presales.

Right now DOM my high end is TS4 legs.

TS4 is way more fan driven that this one. I am hoping for something better considering empty marketplace. It has open runway for 3 weeks with peak summer weekdays. Next Wednesday is a holiday in all liberal states which are the biggest markets over here.
