They seem to be going for the Forrest Gump reunion angle promoting this so I don't think it'll be too artsy. TriStar label was synonymous in the 90s with middlebrow adult entertainment. But also Zemeckis hasn't made a good movie in a while so I'm still bearish on expectations.

Well some people think that the graphic novel it is based on is unfilmable. I get Cloud atlas vibes from this project. And is the runtime on Wikipedia correct? 157 min? Oh dear

Also people hate de-aging and AI technology usage in art right now . Some folks will view it  as a long tech demo

Well I imagined something different when I read the comics a bit. Just a hundred years and the same people? Kinda meh

"Here takes place entirely from one fixed point of view. The camera never budges. It doesn’t zoom and never even turns. What does move—and rather quickly—is time. More than a century of life in one American living room plays out during the brisk 104-minute story."

Ehm..ok

Oh wait, false alarm

Sometimes Here journeys even further back, showing glimpses of this woodland location before the home existed. The Colonial mansion that for much of the movie sits across the street outside the home’s front window gets a supporting part, and the Native tribe who inhabited the land before settlers encroached also turns up throughout the story. Just for fun, the audience also briefly glimpses what was there in the prehistoric era.
