SPECTRE | 11/6/15 | Final Trailer on Page 126! | Twitter reactions coming in, STID 2.0?

I think the bigger deal (it isn't right now cause it's from Sony leaks) is (spoiler tagged cause Sony leaks sourced but I may already have mentioned this before)

Mendes will be shooting some scenes on spherical in 1.85:1 to "fake" the IMAX effect for the IMAX release and probably the BD too I reckon

They're still filming? I thought Spectre already was in post production!

They're filming till June. After the Rome shoot they're heading to Mexico City next month, and to Morocco in April and June - with some London filming in between (majority is done) and post-prod beginning April-ish, in that break between the Morocco shoots

That's not too many time for post-prod a film like this... PotC5 is already in production and won't be released until 2017.

Bond has always shot on a tight scheduling and its post production is less CG heavy compared to the likes of Transformers and Pirates.

WTF? Sony facepalm.gif

In other countries in Europe (France , maybe Germany?) Spectre will start one week later (Nov. 11). And Mockingjay starts on Nov. 18 everywhere. Is it possible that Mockingjay pushed back (2 weeks)?

No, that's not happening. Sony want a "global" release date of Nov 6 for this - so it's like Interstellar v Mockingjay 1.

Mockingjay is not going to leave their comfy pre Thanksgiving spot.

Interesting rescheduling especially since they've really benefited recently from those gushing early UK reviews proclaiming each new Bond as the "Best Ever".

Maybe they've cut post production too close this time and just need those extra weeks.

To be fair, they announced the "global release date of November 6" way back when the title was revealed in December...

Guess they really also want it to be day-and-date because spoilers or whatever :P Just so it's 'fair' that (nearly) everyone gets it at the same time.

Call me cynical but just a guess that Sony would rather make more money than be fair.

The thing is now with modern technology you can start post production DURING production.

In the Hunger Games making of, you could see Gary Ross editing the film while he was shooting it.

But for a movie the size of Spectre, looks like a tight schedule still.
