If Spectre is as well reviewed leading up to the U.S. release as Skyfall, then expect  a big opening weekend bump.

According to some unsubstantiated reports on MI6-HQ.COM  there was an early screening at the BFI IMAX. Early word is that those who saw the film were "blown away". Take it with a grain of salt for now.

Ugh.  That yellow filter just makes Mexico City look like it has very poor air quality (which it does).  What good is paying Bond to make sure not to mention drug wars and beheadings to pump up tourism if they make it look like you can't breathe?

 

Reviews should be coming out already if they're to come out around the same time as Skyfall's did.  It's reviews starting dropping Oct 12 for a Oct 26 UK release date.

Looking at 80 Million dollar opening.

What is interesting is we might have another Inside Out/Jurrasiac World scenario.Two films bring in big bucks on the same weekend. Granted, it was JW's second weekend, but still I think both are going to have a big weekend.

How big a bump? I'd give it a few million more at best.

$80m would only be a couple more million that QOS adjusted but still very good.  With Spectre, Peanuts, MJ2 and Dinos November looks to be much better than last year .

I'm just gonna rewatch the cinematic perfection Casino Royale is over and over. The card game section of the film should be turned into 5 season TV show at least
