I'd prefer this over that I'm Not Racist movie at least

I'm gonna be genuinely pissed if that movie makes more money on its opening weekend than Speak No Evil.

The fact that it might happen because I don't know if Speak No Evil can open on the levels of something like The Black Phone is pretty depressing.

Deadpool in fact won the day, 1.280 over 1.272

Last weekday over 1M for dpw in all likelihood, but also first day in a long time that significantly beats my expectations. If it hold up to Beetlejuice okay maybe 645+ could be possible again

What is this film opening against Speak No Evil?

Another dodgy Angels film? Everything they’ve done since SOF has flopped.

It's a documentary by Matt Walsh. If you don't know who that is...I wish I was you. One look at his Wikipedia page tells you everything you need to know about that evil, despicable man.

Ah thanks. Not on my radar at all. Thankfully don’t recognise the name either.

Well, the trailer is everywhere. Maybe it will have trailer walk ups lol. But in all seriousness, if it opens to number one that weekend, that’s end of the world stuff right there.

however, I’m somewhat confident Speak No Evil can pull a 15-20m OW just from the aggressive marketing alone.

Why?

Politics aside, it was a lightning rod of controversy that, frankly, I'm totally okay with not thinking about ever again.

Reagan has a 25M budget so the box office is not that incredible... i really doubt it's gonna find any international market.

Doesn't matter. For a movie that almost feels like it spawned out of nowhere was top3 for the weekend and 9M for the 4-day, that's surprisingly great. From Showbiz whatever as distributor.

Very welcome surprise for theaters.
