Recommended Posts

The other Ghibli movie of this year The Story of Princess Kaguya will open on November 23rd.directed and co-written by Isao Takahata

Interesting that they're releasing two in one year. Any particular reason why it's not coming out next summer?

White House Down did pretty well for itself. Japan should be one of it's top markets, maybe even second behind China.

The 6th place ranking at Toho for the Star Trek Into Darkness previews is also quite strong, though it was playing at many locations during the weekend. Let's see how it performs when it opens next week.

I'm seeing the National Top 10 being: 1. The Wind Rises, 2. MU, 3. After-Dinner, 4. WWZ, 5. White House Down, 6. Boy H, 7. Pacific Rim, 8. Lone Ranger, 9. Pokemon, 10. Kamen Rider.
