In some ways Russia is disappointing, but actually it's not, it will pass $40m and it's much higher than LOTR movies, and one of the biggest OS markets.

It is disappointing in the way we had said over 60, but it will be the third or fourth OS market behind Germany, UK and probably Australia. In fact, it outgrossed every LOTR movie during OW. Beyond Russia has expanded a lot, that's pretty impressive

On Sunday It will nears 700 mln WW, IMO.It would mean 260 mln in the last 7 days. Even if it keeps loosing 50% it will make other 260 mln.With a Chinese release on the horizon, 1 bilion is almost a safe bet.IMO

When it opened one week early, everybody was "omg what an awful opening this should be glad to do FotR numbers", now that were at the height of the holiday weeks we hear "omg what beautiful legs, RotK here we go" - well, come Jan. 7th we'll be back to business as usual and those legs will look a lot shorter again

Yeah.... the over-reactions on this forum are priceless! :PBTW I think TH1 has crossed 400M mark on Friday. Thursday gross was 26M and cume was 373M. It should have gotten there.

Ok, so with these numbers how hard it is expected to drop right after holidays to fight for $1 billion WW? if it`s going to be at $700 mio WW by New Year`s Day it`s only $300 mio away from $1 billion WW. So drops need to be particulary hard for this to barely cross the mark. Right now, it looks like it could pass Shriekapoo.
