Ozymandias
Actually Johansson is not beautiful. I rarely agree with Futurama's posts, but you're kidding yourself here.
Sims
Marlon Brando is the most overrated actor of all-time. Al Pacino was too weak in playing the Role of Michael Corleone. Robert De Niro displayed a very poor performance in Raging Bull. Paranoia should win the Best Picture of 2013 at the 86th Oscars. You had me until the last one. dashrendar44
Hanz Zimmer = Johann Strauss II Johann Strauss II was not a music illiterate.
ThatMovieGuy
that's a little harsh, Zimmerman is my least favorite well known composer, but give him a little more credit. At least he is a composer. That you probably can't say about yourself.
dashrendar44
that's a little harsh, Zimmerman is my least favorite well known composer, but give him a little more credit. At least he is a composer. That you probably can't say about yourself. You critic movies, are you a director to have the right to put down movies like After Earth and his director? What I said is a fact and the harsh truth, Zimmer is a music illiterate as he can't read and write partition sheets. He has an army of orchestrators minions to write sheets for him unlike a man like Strauss II (or Williams to stay in movie score) that can write proper ochestral music by his own hand. Get your fact straight. I can do a typical Zimmer track if I want, I compose too. In fact, every amateur score composer on youtube can. ThatMovieGuy
fine. Illiterate doesn't make him any worse of a composer like you implied above, I would think it would make him better therefore he must play the music in his head by ear to show his work. dashrendar44
fine. Illiterate doesn't make him any worse of a composer like you implied above, It doesn't make him the equal of Johann Strauss II either. You know that was the point I was making... Phil in the Blank
I think its ridiculous to consider a composer who has won an oscar and several grammy awards to be a complete hack with no talent whats-so-ever. But each to their own. I did ask people not to turn this into a debate thread in my OP guys.

Squaremaster316
If it wasn't for Greenwalt and Fury carrying the load during the inception of BTVS in the late 90's, Joss Whedon wouldn't have a job in this industry.
RobinHood26
In Zimmer's defense he considers Williams the greatest composer of all time and stats that no one is even remotely close.
dashrendar44
If it wasn't for Greenwalt and Fury carrying the load during the inception of BTVS in the late 90's, Joss Whedon wouldn't have a job in this industry. Are you aware that Whedon is the son of industry insiders and his relatives are scriptwriters, right? He would have had a job in the industry no matter what, nepotism, that's called.
