That's a stellar drop for Minions right?

Is it outpacing DM2?

Hello! I'm from Brazil and new here!

I wonder how the French are the expectations for the premiere on Wednesday (29/07) of the animation "The Little Prince", one of the most expensive films ever produced in Europe. I know the book is considered in France as the book of the twentieth century.

In Brazil the premiere is the 20th of August and the expectation, at least mine, is on high.

Hugs!

I'm also excited and i'm sure it will be a huge hit  :)

I was thinking of creating an OS Thread about it but i suggest you do that.

  Top 10 week :

1. Minions : -22% / 943 336 = 4 329 129
2. Ant-Man : -28% 404 835 = 1 067 702
3. Les Profs 2 : -16% / 375 406 = 2 641 686
4. Pixels : 307 415 NEW
5. Inside Out : -7% / 297 891 = 3 198 160
6. Southpaw : 233 016 NEW
7. Pitch Perfect 2 : 157 564 NEW
8. Jurassic World : -21% / 134 053 = 4 918 919
9. Terminator Genisys : -34% / 121 353 = 1 312 768
10. Nos Futurs : 111 186 NEW

Minions is a great great great success.

Despicable Me was 3 008 069 admissions only

Despicable Me 2 was 4 655 036 admssions.

Minions will be probably more 6 millions admissions. The last film with much admissions was Ice Age: Continental Drift with 6 588 883 admissions.

Ant-Man will be a little success, but a succes nevertheless.

The French comedy les profs 2 is a great success, but less than the first Profs.

Pixels is disappointment

Inside Out is a great success. It can do also good than Up and Toy Story 3 with more 4 millions admissions.

Southpaw is good opening.

Pitch Perfect 2 disappointment like the first.

Jurassic World will be the first live action film US since Skyfall has exceeded 5 millions admissions.

Terminator is not good, not bad.

I agree with you!

I believe that given the importance of this project / film and also the influence that the book has around the world, especially in France, certainly have to create a thread, so please keep the honor create it.

My body is ready to follow the Prince's run! I'm hoping it gets an American release! I read that it's budget was $80 million? That is insane for an animated feature made outside of the United States and even more appalling when you consider the amount of factors that can contribute to a weak performance!

PS: I just ADORE Inside Out's french release title of Vice-Versa. <3 <3 <3
