All I know is that "Elle" is projected to have 140k admissions over the whole next week (-30%) and to be #5 of the charts (cine-directors.net). According to cbo-boxoffice the movie was #5 yesterday and cine-directors.net is a good website so it should be right. When you go to cinedirectors.net (still front page) you can see (mostly) on Wednesday the „premières estimations“ or however they are called (I forgot about it). These Wednesday projections are based on the Tuesday première séance (14h) admissions (and already surprisingly well done). And on Thursday come the final preditions for the whole next week, the „nouvelles estimations“ (these go from Wednesday till the included next Tuesday). They are on the basis of the Wednesday (= the release day) admissions (and very trustworthy). I like these preditions for France for years: always so many fine holds ;). Cynosure
FD Paris 2pm : 2 823 Inside Out (June 17 2015) : 3 742 Monsters University (July 10 2013) : 2 677 Monsters University finished with 2.135m admissions, Inside Out with 4.15m admissions. Dory will have the Fête du Cinéma period in a few days with cheaper tickets so it should still do better than Monsters University. Expect a final around 3-3.5m admissions, which will still be a far cry from Nemo's nearly 9.5m admissions and would add another market to the list of markets where it would finish behind Zootopia.
