Not just blockbusters but everything. I don't know what is happening...maybe the weak economy finally started to affect the French BO after years of showing no sign of being affected.

I hope Moana and Rogue One will be able to do well.

France is the next italy/spain. Dory's run was absolute disaster.

France has more inhabitants, has more dynamic demographics and is younger than those 2 countries so I don't see it following the same paths. Stagnation or very small decline are more likely than the strong fall of Italy/Spain.

What are you all talking about? This October was the highest ever in admissions in France. 2016 year also will be very strong.  Currently +5% in admissions compared to 2015.

Yes but without big grossers.

In 2014 the Top Five sold more admissions than Zootopia and the number 1 did 12+mio admissions.

And in 2015 TFA sold 10.4 mio and Minions 6.6mio.

Yeah. That's bit boring, I want huge numbers, this market could impress way more.

Deadline is having this at $9,7m. That can't be right, can it? With Dr. Stranges average ticketprice, this would translate to 1,25m admissions. That would be crazy after the muted OD.

Nothing unusual. And by the way it could be more because FB was mostly in 2D but Strange had 3D.

The infogr thingie shows the tickets sold per hour (1st hour?) for Brad Pitt films, Allies does better than e.g. Fury, but not as good as....
