John Marston
Some says 200m os alone is possible ... nah, it won't have the legs for that
A Marvel Fanboy
Normal legs off this scale openings will do it.
juni78ukr
Last week they underestimated Russia gross. Now most likely they overestimated. Still a terrific result.
wileECoyote
Damn those OS numbers look too good to be true . And the Russia drop may show that it has some legs.

Fake
40% drop from last weekend. But since a few markets opened so a decent hold. Many major markets including most of Western Europe, China, Japan, Australia etc. have yet to open, so it still has a long way to go. JCS
Thought it would be higher after this weekend, not great.
wileECoyote
Pretty good. It'll beat ALVH and Brothers Grimm WW. 150 seems doable. Can it do 200?
Moviedweeb
I just saw that this was produced by Adam McKay and Will Ferrell, kinda surprising.
zackzack
I am surprised at the film's performance. But this kind of Scandinavian/Germanic folklore movies like LORD OF THE RINGS should do big business overseas, just not this big for H&G
victoriastone14
I think the film is getting what it should be and it is nothing to surprise.
Leatherface
What sort of OS total do you guys expect for this?
wileECoyote
What sort of OS total do you guys expect for this?150 would be great but I'd guess around 130 and your guess is as good as mine. Just did a quick comparison with Underworld Awakening, and it looks like H&G is outperforming iiln most if not all. And UA finished with just under a 100. snitch
From the big markets it has opened just in Brazil, Mexico and Russia i believe.European audience likes fantasy stories and the protagonist are very well known. I'm thinking over 160 OS and 200 WW. By the way it's a monster hit here

wileECoyote
$84,000,000 21.5M in one week. Looks good to me. There's still a bunch of markets to open in, but I don't see a Japan release date on imdb. Any idea if it will?
