zackzack
The general feedback is that the movie has a lot of positive points for mild recommendations. Things that stood out: the visuals, story & Tom Cruise. And yes, people seem to love Andrea more than Olga. But the studios know that this story-driven movie cannot compete with the juggernauts like IRON MAN 3 & MAN OF STEEL, plus May is fully booked by the Leo, Wolfpack & Diesel Gang. Will Smith has a scifi, Jason Bourne stars in a similar story in ELYSIUM. This summer is insane! Good move by Universal to move it out of the competition. A Marvel Fanboy
It is at 77M OS by Wednesday. Which means 16M from Mon-Wed 3 days, not bad. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/box-office-tom-cruises-oblivion-442300 Should fall 110M by this Sunday with a 30M weekend or so, rough 50% drop.
A Marvel Fanboy
Tom Cruise's sci-fi pic Oblivion opened to $38.2 million at the domestic box office to come in No. 1 after a better-than-expected performance and despite a B- CinemaScore. Overseas, the Universal pic continued to please, grossing $33.7 million in its second weekend for an international cume of $112 million and worldwide total of $150.2 million. solid 2nd weekend drop ! John Marston
Decent. Unfortunately with Iron Man 3 coming this movie is fucked. I don't think I even want to look at next weeks drop

A Marvel Fanboy
Seems 200M is out of reach from cureent markets (for IM3), more like 160M max. With China and Japan to come plus 100M-plus DOM, 350M seems where it will get when all is said and done. A Marvel Fanboy
Probably 35/65 DOM/OS ratio.
