Punishment
I vote for one of the classics next, there are so many that haven't seen after going through the top 100 results.
Cedarpoint1111
We should make a poll at the last week of every month with the winner being chosen on the first of the month. One movie every month shouldn't be too hard to do...
acsc1312
I was actually hoping this would be a weekly thing. A month is a long time to watch a movie lol. Ill definitely use polls though. Everyone is welcome to suggest films whenever via PM or here.
acsc1312
Added poll. Keep in mind that these are just some I haven't seen, so keep posting your lists.
Cedarpoint1111
This thread and movies we have fallen asleep watching could go hand in hand. I will surely fall asleep watching one of those.
acsc1312
Well then suggest some! I don't want people to lose interest just because I'm the only one suggesting films
Jack Nevada
I could join. What if we watch Bowling for Columbine? Now thats a conversation-starter
JCS
Interesting idea!May I suggest we vote on more obscure films so people actually need to watch them as I am sure many people have already seen modern/old classics such as 500 Days of Summer, Lawrence of Arabia...etc.However, classics are of course great to discuss! The Movie Man
Might be in as just watched 500, and I know all of the above movies that are going in round 2! Also, here is a listed of some actors you should use to pick some movies - if you want, I could also do an older list, as this one is mostly from the 50s to the 70s.... Who are the Best Movie Stars Listed Here of Yesterday? [*]Clint Eastwood [*]Morgan Freeman [*]Charles Laughton [*]Robert DeNiro [*]Al Pacino [*]Jack Nicholson [*]Marlon Brando [*]Paul Newman [*]Dustin Hoffman [*]Peter Sellers [*]Gene Hackman [*]Robert DuVall [*]John Wayne [*]Anthony Quinn [*]Michael Caine [*]Sean Connery [*]Peter O'Toole [*]Harrison Ford [*]Robert Redford [*]Steve McQueen
acsc1312
Thanks for the input, MM. I just watched 500 days tonight, and loved it, as always. I'll post discussion points tomorrow for those who want to discuss. Only two more days to vote on the next pick of you haven't!

acsc1312
Discussion points for (500) Days of Summer: What did you think of the technical aspects?: Direction Acting Script Cinematography Soundtrack etc. What did you think of the relationship as a whole? Was Tom just being used (even though he was warned) by Summer? Do you think he deserved what he got for wanting more? What do you think this says about office relationships? Do all end up this way, or do some really work? What did you think about the jumbled story line? Did it enhance the story, or kind of confuse you? What would you grade the film?
