On the bright side, a down late summer and Fall season could point toward a strong holiday and/or winter. Part of the ebb and flow of the box office market.

I hope so I want Wreck It Ralph, Rise of the Guardians, Les Miserables to do well

Yeah Alladin is almost forgotten, I haven't seen it in video stores or played in Disney Channel. And it's not like the movie was like Hunchback of Notre Dame in terms of impact, that movie was so popular during its time. A Whole New World is I believe one of the most popular songs from that came from the Disney 90s renaissance

I've seen it on ABC Family every now and then.

I think Ralph and Guardians will do well, not sure on Les Mis given the mixed reception of musicals at the box office but given its a known property and has a great cast, I wouldn't be surprised if it managed to do over $100-150m.

The Campaign did pretty well for WB, it made more money than the other higher profile WB projects Dark Shadows and Rock of Ages and is just $2 mil shy from catching up with Wrath of the TitansHope Springs $60 million is good as well, nice legs given the average openingProps again to Odd Life and ParaNorman

$22-24 million is decent for Resident Evil. That should be good enough to beat any of the openers next weekend.Speaking of those, I'd kind of like to see all 4, they all hold some appeal to me. But if I had to pick one, my number 1 choice will definitely be Dredd. I'm really glad to see good reviews for a movie like that. That said, it doesn't have a very good chance of finishing #1. I think HATES will be #1. It's a PG-13 horror, it's had a whole lot of marketing for it over the past few months, and its got the extremely popular Jennifer Lawrence. I'd be shocked it if didn't make at least $10 million next weekend, and it's likely heading for over $15 million. The only thing that'll keep it from hitting above $20 will probbly be some really bad reviews.

The Campaign has done good for a comedy about politics but I think it'll struggle overseas. I alway found it surprising that The Other Guys didn't do that well overseas considering the premise was pretty simple.
