As far as I know "flop" is subjective

... unless most people agree with it.

Very true.  About 10 people majority on this site subjectively have declared AOU as a flop. Now Disney will end end up writing off a lot of money on AOU because of that. In fact they might be ruing the decision of continuing this franchise. They may as well make only mega hits as approved by a 10 person majority on this site.

its not a flop, pretty harsh declines in china like many other places proving mixed WOM which is in turn disappointing and doesn't bode well for the next installment

Yes it is, since this was predicted 300m China.

Considering everything is currently under one topic it doesn't make much sense though when this hits 1000 pages it might be time for a new topic.  Or are we as suggested going to have a new topic for each movie now which seems like a bit of  pain when giving daily or weekend numbers for Olive, Firedeep etc.

There's no ironclad guidelines in place at the moment. You guys are free to post however you choose.

 

If it seems sensible, though, what about an ongoing daily and/or weekend numbers thread? Olive and Firedeep can post the data there, and ongoing discussion can continue in the various movie-specific threads.
