Moana Already has beat expectation(I thought it'd only make $20M), and has some great legs.

Next weekend we will have two new animated movies opening, so Moana won't make much from now, maybe 215M yuan($30-31M) finish.

China will at least be top2 OS market for it, Only Japan has a chance to beat us.

I saw on weibo. Dubbing looks bad and very forced. =(

I like Stephen Chow but this looks worst than Monkey King's CGI.

A lot of the dubbing is forced just for the trailers. A lot of those are not the actual lines in the movie but they dubbed it that way in the trailer. They've released two "spoof" trailers, I believe. But anyway it was funny. Very Stephen Chow. It will be a hit.

"Journey to the West 2" - Stephen Chow & Tsui Hark - Kris Wu, Lin Gengxin, Yao Chen

"Kung Fu Yoga" - Stanley Tong - Jackie Chan, Zhang Yixing, Aarif Lee

"Buddies in India" - Wang Baoqiang - Wang Baoqiang, Liu Yan, Bai Ke

"Duckweed" - Han Han - Deng Chao, Eddie Peng, Zhao Liying

"Cook Up A Storm" - Raymond Yip - Nicholas Tse, Tang Yan, Ge You

"The Game Changer" - Gao Xixi - Peter Ho, Edison Huang, Wang Xueqi

"The Village of No Return" - Chen Yuxun - Shu Qi, Grace Wang

"Top Funny Comedian" - Li Jijiang - Rowan Atkinson, Guo Degang, Yue Yunpeng

There are a couple more. This is too crowded. At least half of these have to cancel... it's too much.

Why Hacksaw was so popular there? Is Baby Andrew super popular in China?

It portrays the Japanese in a bad light, which the Chinese like. Its also a pretty well-rated movie in the US as well... Probably feels good (to Chinese audiences) to have a extremely well-done war movie.

TUESDAY ESTIMATES
Railroad Tigers - ¥29.2M/276M
See You Tomorrow - ¥20.8M/326M

Hacksaw Ridge - ¥5.8M/¥322M
Your Name - ¥1M/¥561M

$46.3 million and counting for Hacksaw Ridge in China - great numbers.

Maybe it can reach 350 million Yuan ($50.4 million) after its run...
