It's going to hit 40m+ (-10% WoW) today and 800m+ sounds right for a 265m+ week.   Two 50% weekly holds gets it over 1B by the end of its 30 days. They've been giving extentions almost always now to anything that's making money. I'm sure it'll get it. 

With this week going to be be near flat it could hold -40% for the weekend and much better for the week, with holiday help, against pirates if the demos don't overlap much. XMA held decently up against WC last year at this time. Could see a total between 1.1-1.2b if it doesn't suddenly run out of demand steam, which can happen at the CBO at any moment.

WOW. its almost 30m and having a take rate close to 5m per hour. Should hit 40m as @POTUS said. That is crazy drop considering its Mon-Thu holds did not seem crazy(compared to previous week !!! ). Presales for tomorrow indicate a strong saturday(> 2x friday). Definitely should be 800m+ by the time Pirates open. Without extension it will wrap around 900-950m, and with extension(and if Pirates craters after big OW), I can see it go as high as Potus extrapolated !!!! Definitely Zootopia like breakout for the year and even bigger surprise considering its not even a hollywood movie.

It would be crazy that Day 16 is the highest in China. Only Domestic/Japan has done this previously !!!!! Domestically it happened for limited releases/holiday releases. Here it was kind of limited release but it played in more screens last weekend than this.

1. Whether Dangal gets an extension....

 

2. How much more Baahubali 2 is fudged (It is claimed that it hit 1500 crore in 3 weeks, but it is still 50-60 crore short)

 

3. How much the remaining markets (China, SK etc) bring in for Baahubali 2.

 

Both look good to finish in 1600-1650 Cr range as of now... If Dangal can hit 1B in China, then it will have the upper hand.

Considering Dangal will make 60-70% more than Dog depending on extension, its no contest.

 

Dangal saturday is already at 53.5m. 100m should not be a problem at all. It will coast past it.

Fudging rumors is there for all the big movies in India.

As mentioned these kind of articles/rumors are there for all big movie collections. But many such articles are just for attention seeking as they don't have even connection with trade analysts.

If you check BOI and Taran (biggest trade analyst in india) you can see they are more/less in same range for most movies (may be 10-15crrs difference)...Except Rakesh Roshan's movies fudge (which are outrageous) while others hardly matters.
