3PM-4PM - 13.9 vs 16.5 = 84%

 

57M in last 4 hours as compared to 70M of FF8 (81.5%). Needs 93% from here to reach 400M mark.

Some bad news. I just remembered, Maoyan was lower than official estimate/actual.  I think it was 385m.  There is no way that it went from 341m at 8pm to 417m at 11pm. The FF8 hourly totals are low. We can still compare the hourly increases though.

So, basically China loves this movie for the most part, since 8.6 is very high for Douban, and I've never seen a movie just keep increasing like this.

I think there was some issue with Maoyan after 6PM. Data until that point was suggesting 400M+.

 

In any case, the midpoint for Friday addition (excluding midnights) was 5.30PM for Thor 3, 5.00PM for BP and 4:30PM for FF8 (if assuming data till that point to be correct).

 

It's at 280.8M @ 4.30PM. So IW has added 99M today so far. Assuming 4.30 to be the mid point, it will finish with 281+99 = 380M.

 

If 5.00PM turns out to be the mid-point, then it will finish with 182+106.5+106.5 = 395M.
