Great jumps!So around 150m weekend for EOT. By next Thursday, it will gross another 75m. So Fri-Thurs week will be 225m. Assuming 60% drop against Godzilla, 2nd week will be 90m. Assuming another 60% drop against Maleficent, 3rd week will be 35m. So it should be at 350m when TF4 opens.However, if it holds better, 400m might be possible.

Well, I'm looking at what Pacific Rim did. And Godzilla ain't Pacific Rim in terms of action and spectacle. I expect a swift collapse. But hey, it wouldn't be ENTIRELY shocking if it does 100 million. Personally, I don't think it does more than 85, but...we'll see.

Edge of Tomorrow took a strong $6.7 million premiere  from 4000 sites in China on Friday. The film dominated the market by taking 57% of the marketshare. The opening day numbers exceeded Oblivion by 150%, Gravity by 46%, Hobbit 2 by 20%, Thor 2 by 18%, and Man of Steel by 16%.

DOFP did 130m from Mon-Sat. 7 days total looks to be 148m (down 46% from its second week) with a projected 18m Sunday, (based on 23m Sat of course).

 

EoT looks could hit 150m 3-days, or so.
