Say Captain Marvel really get that 9.2 plus Maoyan score. That shall give it ¥230mn opening day and around ¥750-800mn weekend i.e. $110-120mn Approx.

 

Say $165mn domestic debut and a lil better than Captain Marvel in rest of the world at $175mn.

 

This gives $450-460mn opening weekend worldwide, number 6 of all time.

Update: WOM really works. Green Book make $6.9M on Saturday. This is a big jump from it's opening day. $16M-plus opening weekend should happen. Local distributor Ali Pictures thought $15M total before releasing. So how much for it's lifetime in CHN? Unpredictable.

will be tough to have good legs after 2nd week so am thinking $130-135 vs $140. will defer to what china pros think though, i haven't tracked movies enough.
