tawasal
ASM hatersare you expecting it to open to over 100m? Cuz 95m is a great OW and not an insult.
Jake Gittes
Skyfall's multiplier will be much closer to 3 than to 2.5, regardless of the OW.

FTF
How did TASM even come up? Cause they're both Sony? Just watched TASM on blu-ray and it's a good movie, I don't get all the hate. Anyway, whatever Skyfall's Saturday winds up being, $32-36m, an $85-90m ow is massive and combined with its OS gross this thing is a beast. #ED
I just saw the TASM again on blu ray as well. Wife loved it so it was a must buy. I just felt it was too soon to do a reboot. Sony could have banked with a part 4 to the original. I guess they think this new trilogy will do better in the long run.
BK007
Raimi's trilogy mostly sucked.

A Marvel Fanboy
And on Saturday morning, the studio begged me to lower my sources’ $88M weekend estimate. But the magic number is around $87M ($30.8M Friday, $33.8M Saturday, and an estimated $20.3M Sunday).

That new woman could be amazing and better in many ways, but screw that bitch just because.
