The part that I found ridiculous was the whole Kaiju Wall plan. A fucking wall! Like the Kaijus are just gonna chill out there but Del Toro did it to show that the government will do anything to solve a problem as cheap as possible.

Not sure if he'll be a villain in the sequel, would make sense though considering what his character has been through and how antagonist like he was in the first film.

He drifted with a kaiju and is the one to predict kaiju attacks. If the Precursors or Kaiju masters find a way to manipulate him like they do with the Kaiju, he can convince the world that no more attacks are coming so they can let their guard down.
