CoolioD1
If we make a website for our critics group then people will think we're legit and sites like AD will post our winners. Maybe studios would send us all screeners. Holy shit, this is a great idea.
4815162342
And then we can have official live voting in the chatroom! Everyone can join in on the madness and chaos!
rockNrollaDIM
I bet our results wouldn't even be that different in the end.
CoolioD1
I bet our results wouldn't even be that different in the end.I'd expect Avengers or Batman would probably win best picture w/ us. Though it was cool/surprising to see that members here voted Drive as best movie of last year.
acsc1312
It all depends on if we could release the fanboys in us and vote non biased. Maybe The Master could pull off an upset.

I think Cloud Atlas and Perks would be big contenders with us.
Gopher
Awards season here will be crazy. I'll run it next month so voters get a chance to see Django, Les Mis, ZDT and whatever else they have to catch up on.
CoolioD1
Lincoln and ZDT aren't coming here until January 25th. Flight and Cloud Atlas are feb releases. So I'm probably not gonna have seen every thing I wanna before voting on these BOT awards.... unless screeners leak online anytime soon. Kvikk Lunsj
We should create a 'film critic group' here on the forums. How awesome would our picks be?What should we call our film critic group?
CoolioD1
What should we call our film critic group? The Box Office Forums FIlm Critics Society Of People Who Aren't Actual Critics But Simply Forum Members Who Thought They Could Do This Whole Awards Thing Better Than Groups Like The Boston Online FIlm Critics Association Whose List Of Winners In Major Categories Reads More Like Oscar Predictions Than Genuine Choices For What They Thought Was The Best Of The Year.Or simply BOFFCSOPWAACBSFMWTTCDTWATBTGLTBOFCAWLOWIMCRMLOPTGCFWTTWTBOTY for short
TLK
We should have a forum-wide vote anyway when Academy awards nominations are announced. It will be interesting to see how many winners the forum can correctly call.
