Fullbuster
I love this trilogy, but we have to admit it : BTTF2 takes place in 2010, we see flying cars and other futuristic things...Sad, the myth died given we know how 2010 is But it's kind of funny too, the serious side dies. Walt Disney
Not to me. It is still one of my 4 favorite movies of all-time. It is kinda scary that we are only a few years away from reaching the year 2015.
Dementeleus
BLADE RUNNER takes place in 2019 and we're nowhere near flying cars and replicants. Then again, we're well past 1997 and Manhattan hasn't become a high-security prison yet.

DeeCee
Every so often I get upset we haven't had Judgement Day yet. Then I console myself in the knowledge that its coming, some day.

The concept of house-hold flying vehicles has always been, and I'm sure will always be, a fancy part of sci-fi's.
lilmac
There's still a chance someone could invent flying skateboards although probably not enough time for its mass adoption.

lilmac
I think back to 2001: A Space Oddyssey and I'm like "yea....riiiight"...not even in 2200 will we have achieved half of what's in the space scenes.
baumer
Will we get time travel and killer cyborgs in 2029?
Impact
2001-nuff said Really though people thought in the 60s we be way more advance then we are. BTTF2 was a satire in that sense.
