A lot of little things were left out of the film because Nolan was on a time constraint.

I kind of agree. The first act was very well paced, the second act felt a little stretched, but the third act felt way too jammed.

I know they want surprises and all that but shouldn't they expand the number of director nominations to match whatever the number of Best Picture noms? I mean it doesn't make much sense for the director of a possible best picture to not be nominated.

The pace of TDKR was kinda fucked up. Like people have said here, the second act is rather boring at times, and the third act rushes by so fast that they dont give a fuck about anything
