As I said Affleck is pretty much locked to win the BAFTA with Spielberg and Russell not nominated.

Like he was locked for BD nom?

I think the Oscars just got a lot more interesting and unpredictable.

With the exception of DDL`s inevitable win.If unnominated director(s) continue to win, I wouldn`t want to be the one who wins the Oscar because other awards clearly say another person was more deserving.

DDL really needs a good speech writer before Oscars…may be he can go method again and imagine he is playing an actor who wins her 3rd Oscar lol

As if his shit speeches ruined his previous 2 wins. Winslet speeches were crap, Waltz speeches were most pretentious drivel and yet they swept all precursors and Oscars.

Wouldn't it be something if the Affleck snub will turn into a huge support for Argo winning BP???

This could happen. If we were on the same schedule last year and DGA nominations came out while voting was still in session, Affleck would be in.

After today I really have no idea what to expect anymore. I'm blind.
