ScareLol
Onward debuts with $1.9M (~€1.7M). Better than Cars 3 and on par with The Good Dinosaur Edited March 8, 2020 by ScareLol
ScareLol
Horrible numbers for everyone. Onward estimates are even lower, Bloodshot numbers are similar to Hellboy and the holdovers didn't do much better (TiM and Gentlemen have great WOM but their drops are bigger than expected). This week it's going to be even worse without a big release. Dark times are coming Edited March 9, 2020 by ScareLol 3

But the contagion is spreading fast: 200 more cases and 8 deaths just in Madrid since yesterday.
ScareLol
It's not all doom and gloom at the BO, with Spanish comedy Invisibles grossing 134K with only 66 copies (€2K PTA). Best PTA of the year for a film with less than 100 copies Edited March 10, 2020 by ScareLol 2
ScareLol
Top 20 totals. Bloodshot number is not that bad after estimates (better than Hellboy). Shame for Onward, the film is fantastic
ScareLol
I won't update BO anytime soon. Cinemas in Madrid are only selling 1/3 of the entire capacity of the theatre until 26th March (it could be more days if the situation is worse) so we can expect low numbers. Films should move (Mulan, Trolls 2, A Quiet Place) and stay safe everyone Edited March 11, 2020 by ScareLol 3 2
ScareLol
Yelmo and Cinesa closed all the cinemas today (the two biggest theater chains in Spain) so no cinemas soon and the situation is getting worse day by day with a lot of infected people and deaths
charlie Jatinder
Indian film from my home state #1 in provisional data. #5 overall.
ScareLol
Good news, COVID is slowing down a lot in Spain and cinemas are starting to re-open and next week, Cinesa (Biggest theater chain) is opening 3 cinemas in Valencia, Santiago and Zaragoza with fan favorites like Goonies and Ghostbusters and other films Edited June 1, 2020 by ScareLol 2
ScareLol
Our first official Top 10 post-COVID is here: Onward wins the Friday battle with new releases The High Note, Mary, Human Lost, Cinema Paradiso (re-release) and La Cinta de Alex entering the Top 10. Gentlemen is going strong at #2. Edited August 26, 2020 by ScareLol
CJohn
Box office here in Portugal is dead so I am curious to see numbers for Spain. Movies here are selling 10-15 tickets on average per copy which is a disaster. No strong new releases yet tho.
ScareLol
Top 20 is here. Those numbers look pretty bad with PTA being so low but at least Onward sold 65 tickets per theater Edited June 30, 2020 by ScareLol 1
CJohn
Spain is just Portugal on a bigger scale. It will be a long path to recover.
ScareLol
What a weird Top 10. ScareLol
Red Shoes gets a strong debut for independent distributor Flins y Piniculas (One of their best for animated films) with +100K€ after COVID and La Lista de los Deseos flops hard. ScareLol
Weekend Top 20. Horrible numbers. Under The Skin (The A24 Scarlett Johansson film) was released in Spain for the first time ever after 7 years with the best PTA post-COVID (595€)
ScareLol
Friday means new releases. Spanish Comedy Superagente Makey debuts at #1, The Wretched debuts at #2, Scoob drops to #3 (it was released on Wednesday where it was #1 for 2 days) and The Peanut Butter Falcon debuts at #4.
