Community Manager Water Bottle Posted February 2, 2013 Community Manager Share Posted February 2, 2013 Does it feel very Finchery? Long story short my sister's boyfriend logged in to Netflix on our Wii and that's the only place I can watch this. And my TV is never free. I'd say you can tell Fincher directed this by the way it looks.
4815162342
Just watched the pilot episode. Spacey nails the fine line between suave and over-the-top
Gopher
I'm on episode 4 and I'm really digging it. Compulsively watchable. It's everything I wanted Boss to be.

acsc1312
Yeah, probably for good since it's netflix. Can a show like this get awards attention since it's released online?

4815162342
Just watched the pilot episode. Spacey nails the fine line between suave and over-the-top Went through 2 episodes last night, both very good. I'm very curious what Francis' ultimate plan is. Random prediction: Turn the VP into his puppet then engineer Walker's impeachment? Guess I'll find out. I'll trust WB on the awards eligibility since he's the big TV news/rules guy around here.
The Stingray
This has gotten amazing reviews where I live. Spacey's supposed to be brilliant in it. Edited February 3, 2013 by Don Niam The Stingray

For those who don't, you don't have to take my word for it: Gold Derby: "House of Cards" will be eligible to submit inthe drama series categories alongside broadcast and cable programmingthis year. Will Netflix's strategy of delivering a whole season on oneday make any difference to its Emmy chances? Whether or not this is going to make any difference to making theprogram more Emmy viable? I don't think so, because it's not unique evennow. Showtime, HBO, with its HBO Go service, are already doing this tosome extent, although they do post them in sequence rather than dumpthem all ready for viewing all on one day. -http://www.goldderby.com/news/3914/house-of-cards-kevin-spacey-david-fincher-netflix-emmys-emmy-awards-tv-news-entertainment-news.html Edited February 3, 2013 by Water Bottle
CoolioD1
Just watched the first three episodes and I'm really lovin' it so far. Whole cast is great, though tbh I'm finding it hard to give a damn about plotline involving Robin Wright's character.
4815162342
Through 8 episodes as of yesterday. Will probably watch a couple more after class while eating lunch. Kevin Spacey is locked locked locked an Emmy nod. Jon Hamm has someone else who will be stealing awards from him.

CoolioD1
"Marty, the only thing you'll get from me is cum on your face." Kevin Spacey owns. It really takes a special something to make me root for horrible, douchebag politician characters.

Phil in the Blank
I loved the original British Show so am always a bit nervous when I hear America is going to remake something British that I enjoyed. Then I had a big sigh of relief when I heard that it was HBO in charge of it and will definitely check it out when I can.
