Another amazing win for Argo and Affleck.  This year is going to go down in history as the first year where one person wins every possible award but is not even nominated for the oscar.  I mean, DGA, PGA, Bafta, GG and so on.  That is an incredible list of guilds and such that gave him top prize.  And good for him as Argo is one of the best films of the year.  

 

As for Riva, game on bitches.  There will be many of you totally shocked when she pulls the upset this year, but only an upset to those of you who have not seen it.  This is just one academy that has recognized her but this imo is a big one.  This means people are seeing the film now that had not before.  And to see it is to recognize that her performance is not just the best this year but perhaps one of the best of all time imo.  I will be happy if Jlaw wins it, but RIVA deserves it.  

 

As for the rest, nice....glad to see Hathaway win again, didn't care for the film but her performance absolutely stunned me.  Waltz is a good win and so on.

I hope Christoph Waltz wins the Oscar. If I can't have a Hoffman victory then I guess he's the next best thing.

I loved TLJ in Lincoln, but Hoffman and Waltz simply did more and impressed me more. They had an hour and a half of screentime apiece, TLJ had 20 minutes.

Agreed on Hoffman. But TLJ is the only actual supporting performance of those three, anyways.
