chasmmi
Not too sure about that; "Iron Man 2", "Shrek 3" or, to a lesser degree, "The Dark Knight Rises" were also considered disappointing by some (not me). Everything is disappointing to some, I'm sure there are some out there who were disappointed Avengers couldn't beat Titanic or even Avatar. Hell there are probably some that get dissappointed when Twilight: Suntsets and Sparkles doesn'tbeat Avatar and Titanic.

Whenever I've heard the word disappointment with these films it was about the posters perceived quality of the film, not it's BO returns(dom or ww). Captain Craig
I'd bet they had crazy high expectations tough. I recall the crazy $600m predicts for TDKR but not so crazy for IM2, some $400m sure.

CJohn
Congrats to the Last Stand for hitting 11.96 mill. More funny (or sad) than this only WB not even releasing an estimated number for BTTH this weekend. Edited February 18, 2013 by CJohn
