Fair enough. I respect your opinion. But I think she should lose some weight.

I think being overweight isn't good for anyone, but I would never dislike anyone because of it.

Melissa can still fit her ass on one seat so she`s OK. It`s people who take up 2 or more seats and deprive tired people from sitting that should drop it. They affect the environment in a negative way. No such problem with Melissa.

The only time i'd dislike a fat person for being fat would probably be if the person would stink and wouldnt shower. I'd say "Hey, wash your stinky ass"Otherwise, im cool

What I dislike is people that use their fatness at extreme convenience. One time, they're victim of a disease relishing in self-pity like they're hopeless poor people, other time, they're proud of their fatness like it's part of their personality in a kind of "fat is the new hip, deal with it!" obnoxious bragging so let it be. If you're really comfortable in your own skin, no need to brag "fat power, f*ck you". You don't have to justify your physical state to one another.

No you're not born fat so it's not a fatality and being fat is not a defining personality trait. You're fat, if you don't like it, stop bitchin' and make everything possible to get fit when you look at you in a mirror. You don't care about being fat, fine, I don't care too but don't brag about being proud of being fat like it makes you unique.

Why does it matter what McCarthy does in ten years? She is the IT girl now, that makes her a star. Careers are fleeting. You strike while the iron is hot. Remember when Christian Slater was the next Jack Nicholson after Heathers? Remember when Katherine Heigl was the next Meg Ryan after Knocked Up? Not many have longevity like Nicholson or Cruise or Washington or Streep. McCarthy is a huge star right now and IT proves it.

Ok, i can go with the "IT girl of the moment", but to me, that doesn't make her a movie star.

The term Movie Star is been degraded several times, and i understand that.

In the 40's and 50's it meant one this, and in the 80's and 90's is was completely different.

But i won't accept that been "the it girl on the moment" makes you a star. But hey, to this generation everything is about the now, the moment....

The Grey was a success.

The Grey was not a hit.

Exactly. There's a huge difference between a financial success and being a hit.

Huge.

Let's make this clear, as i kept reading and i don't want' to be a misunderstanding about this: I like Melisa McCarthy, i think she is funny as hell, and i'm very happy about her moment right now. I hope she find the right roles after The Heat, because she won't be able to make a career playing the same character over and over.

I and couldn't care less about her being fat. I don't give a shit about people's bodies, or race, religion, sexual or political preferences, etc. That's idiotic to me.

As someone who was pretty much obese through elementary and middle school that lost 70 pounds, I can't look at the fat issue through black and white. On one hand, I realize how hard and painful it can be. On the other, I also know with hard work, exercise and diet, most anybody can be skinny again.

Congrats on that. Definitely know how it is to lose that much weight and trying to keep it off.
