With the theatrical window is strinking and the creation of wide screen HD and 4K televisions more people are willing the wait less than three months for VOD and streaming to watch in the comforts of their homes. Every movie out right now is a "I'll wait for the video" movie, except Hitman's Bodyguard. That's not saying anything bad about these movies, these movies just lack a lot of CGI and big explosions. The August movies are getting a chance to live a longer life because there is no big movie. The audience is getting a chance to checkout movies that been out three or four weeks.
