  1. That's what I get for putting my trust in Bruce Willis Anyways... 3/01 - 21 & Over 3/08 - Oz: The Great and the Powerful 3/15 - Oz: The Great and the Powerful 3/22 - The Croods 3/29 - G.I. Joe: Retaliation 4/05 - Jurassic Park 3D 4/12 - 42 4/19 - Oblivion 4/26 - Pain & Gain 5/03 - Iron Man 3 5/10 - Iron Man 3 5/17 - Star Trek Into Darkness 5/24 - Fast & Furious 6 5/31 - Fast & Furious 6 6/07 - After Earth 6/14 - Man of Steel 6/21 - Monsters University 6/28 - Monsters University There are a lot of big "what if's" with this line-up. Early-mid April is especially hard to grasp what will hit and what will flop. Then the last weekend of June, which, depending on how big Man of Steel manages to be and how frontloaded Monsters Univeristy ends up gives both of them a good shot at it. Either way it will be very interesting... *Edited - forgot about Oblivion *
  2. So happy about that Warm Bodies number. I had a feeling it could do $25-30 million but being Superbowl weekend and the weaksauce that was most of January I went for more modest predictions. Definitely one of the most fun films in months and I hope it holds really well through the month.
  3. You have no soul.Toy Story 3 was fantastic, just like the other two.
  4. So can we edit our existing lists from now through the release of estimates for this Friday?
  5. I'll give it a go...1/25: Hansel & Gretel2/1: Warm Bodies2/8: Identity Thief2/15: A Good Day to Die Hard2/22: A Good Day to Die Hard3/1: Jack the Giant Slayer3/8: Oz3/15: Oz3/22: The Croods3/29: G.I. Joe: Retaliation4/5: G.I. Joe: Retaliation4/12: Evil Dead4/19: Oblivion4/26: Pain & Gain
  6. Could Django be #1 this weekend? How well is Texas Chainsaw Massacre looking to do?
  7. If true this is an absolute stroke of marketing genius on Pixar's part. They should cast him as the boy's dinosaur or whatever and people will flock to see this just to hear Lil' Wayne voice a fucking dinosaur. Avatar is fucked.
  8. Django continues to impress. Great number for The Hobbit as well.
  9. I doubt it will be a "horror for kids" in the styles of Paranorman and (I haven't seen it but from what people have said) Hotel Translyvania. That just doesn't seem like Pixar or Unkrich's style. It will probably be more adventure focused based around supernatural elements or something.
  10. Hell yeah, Django. The show I saw last night was packed and the audience ate it up. This should have better legs than Inglourious Basterds did even without the Christmas equation. Les Mis and Hobbit did great as well. A fitting end to this interesting year.
  11. Okay I understood calling The Hobbit's performance underwhelming to a certain degree but Les Mis? A movie that has made twice as much than most expected by this point? Nonsense. It's without a doubt the biggest breakout of the month.
  12. Skyfall should manage to pass Breaking Dawn Part II by the end of the weekend as 4th highest grossing movie of the year domestically.
