  1. are you allowed to request final vote scores from whoever has the final tally at the last minute, so you can vote differently and curve/rigg possible movies onto the list?
  2. well it shouldn't be too hard to make a movie when going from approximately 3 hours of footage to 2 hours of footage and having a budget in excess of 50 million.
  3. how is the movie not good when it was directed by Bryan Singer? does the studio purposely edit hours and hours of the filmed movie into a crapfest? ...LOL??
  4. probably something like 18-36 opening weekend. it could be anticipated to be a movie that flies over everyone's head and no one goes out to see it. Christopher Robin did 25 and Wrinkle in Time did 33. The Grinch opens on its second weekend, Fantastic Beasts on its third weekend, and Wreck-it-Ralph on its fourth weekend. Santa Clause 2 and 3 were still playing heavily over T-break, I don't think one will be expecting to see Nutcracker there. Nutcracker has no reviews, no IMDB ratings, but it should outsell Bohemian Rhapsody and Halloween's third weekend if cinemagoers are deprived and the weather is in order. Nutcracker looks like it has lollipop-land written all over it, but it also looks like a stage play... no production budget listings yet.
  5. Bohemian Rhapsody getting lukewarm reviews. Possibly looking at Walk the Line, MJ-This is It, & All Eyez on Me #s of 25-mill opening weekend Halloween could get 33 this week setting up a potential 20 million 3rd weekend. If everyone ignores Nutcracker, #1 possible 3-way race
  6. and possibly one of the reasons being... It could be for charity for people with grieving problems
  7. be that as it may, she likely got voted in as winner of People's Choice Awards - Best Drama Actress of 2018 - Red Sparrow. also, her role in Dark Phoenix will likely get voted in too all the way to the finish line whenever the movie comes out.
  8. weekday predix 20.98 - Halloween - 97.00 8.37 - A Star is Born - 134.50 6.44 - Venom - 177.50 3.34 - First Man - 33.10 2.76 - Hate U Give - 13.50 2.29 - Goosebumps 2 - 31.10 1.87 - Smallfoot - 68.20 1.64 - Bad Times - 15.10 1.50 - Night School - 68.30 0.50 - House/Clock - 65.50
  9. I think First Man looks great, but unfortunately I don't live inside a 4DK theater to watch it.
  10. the original thing I am pointing at is film piracy has created an ongoing battle to where movies online almost seem like a free market. I think whatever anyone thinks, says, or does with film piracy is at like free game because those laws would be too movable and changeable. starving people can take off after the movies, cable is almost free, but living is not. also, life can suck.
  11. Nolan movies like Dark Knight + Rises have tons of CGI, thousands of CGI artists in the credits, despite live shoots with real props
