  1. There actually is one original song in it, not that it's actually any good.
  2. Rogue One made Wednesday such an event that we need five threads to discuss it.
  3. Sharknado only has 17 reviews, it's also so shamelessly bad that it's pretty entertaining.
  4. That's the sound Ethan was making as his cum dripped down into his bag of popcorn.
  5. I firmly believe George RR Martin didn't release Winds of Winter this year because he was to busy writing 2016.

  7. That was my biggest problem with it. Despite how technically brilliant it was, it felt as if it lacked life, unlike the animated counter-part, which I love.
  8. Will definitely keep the Fisher family in my thoughts and prayers, that's very sad news to hear.
  9. Well... I'll say you actually have a solid list this year (I have no idea what movies are 2016 releases in your country, so no complaining on "Why isn't this here?", plus it's your list and only douches demand people put movies on their personal list). Good list CJohn!
  10. This is a really good movie, I feel like it's really getting overlooked on this forum.
  11. Fences is a fantastic character piece with an incredibly lush screenplay. The ensemble in this movie competes as one of the best of the year. Washington's performance as Troy is heart pounding, and even manages to keep his shadow cast when his character is missing from the scene. Great acting from the whole cast. Davis also gave a standout performance, and had a few heart-wrenching scenes that she never oversold. My biggest problem with the movie was that you could tell it was meant for the stage, not the big screen. I think they did a great job translating it, but it still felt a little contained and not cinematic. I don't think there was much to offer by making the play into a film that the play didn't offer itself (other than it being easier to access and see). I don't think that's a problem that really could have been fixed though, and Washington does the best job that he can to bring something new to offer for the film. There's so many chilling moments though, and the dialogue is piercing. It has a lot of ideas to offer, and the characterization is impeccable. Overall, I really enjoyed this one, it was emotionally moving, powerful and it was never boring (like many adaptions of great plays that go on the big screen tend to be). A
  12. Yes, but all of those spin-offs decreased from the original. That doesn't bode well for a 50m+ increase from LEGO
  13. I think the holidays diminishes the effect of cheap Tuesday because so many people are off and going to the movies anyways. Wednesday should still be a drop for most movies, but idk about 20%.
  14. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see LEGO Batman go over BvS. I just don't think it's happening. LEGO Movie was well liked, but it's still a spin-off for it. And you shouldn't compare it to the live action Batman films, because it isn't one. It'll be a hit, but it's still an animated movie and 300m is no easy feat for them (even now). I just think people are getting to wild with their predictions for it.

  16. This is the most pathetic concept for a horror movie I've ever heard. Sounds like the kind of crap I'd make up on camping trips as a kid to try and scare my friends when we told ghost stories.
  17. Where are these 100m OW / 300m+ DOM predictions for LEGO Batman coming from? I don't even think an opening weekend / DOM Total over The LEGO Movie is any guarantee at all. In fact I think its target should be something like 60m / 215m. These are crazy.
