    The first day will be big in France because of La Fete du Cinema.After that, it'll depend of word of mouth.

    I saw that they put previews in first weekend, specially in UK and Australia. Because of this they had an Enormous first weekend in Australia for HTTYD2 that was not real.But I was talking that Paramount said 10 million (that was Australian Dollars number) and the correct in Dollars was 5% less (9,56 million, boxofficemojo). Them, Paramount overestimate it, because they put Australian Dollars number like USA Dollars.

    Boxofficemojo has it at 392,4 million in July, 01. Then it made 3,1 million a day monday and tuesday.It'll not have 400 million overseas today.. Nomally a movie makes 15% of the last weekend a day in weekdays. 45% of 18 million gives 8,1 million.It'll do a little more this week.

    The important thing is in Metacritic if a movie has a 70 grade, it really got 70 average (from the critics).And if it has 95, it really got 95 average.Summer movies are not great movies. They are Entertainment.

    I saw Maleficent. It's not my kind of movie, but is far from bad and very far from worst movie of the summer.And it has the best légs. Of the summer. Not just In USA, but all over the world.Obviously, people liked it..And when I saw it, There was only adults, many couples, then it's not just kids. Family is just 40% of this movie audience.

    In Metacritic:EOT: 72; godzilla: 62; Maleficent: 56; ASM2: 53.Then, all of this movies are médium (for the critics).

    The best site to know if a movie is great or not (for the critics) is Metacritic.They have the real avaliation and only from top critics.

    Let's go with the real thing:Rotten Tomatoes is not a good site to know if a movie is good or not.It's just a site to know if the majority of the critics like a movie or not.In an absurd proposition, if all critics give to a movie a 5,9 in 10, the movie will get 0% in Rotten Tomatoes.And other movie gets 6,1 of all critics, the movie will get 100% in Rotten Tomatoes.Obviously both movies are medium (not awful the first one, not great the second).

    No, kids are not in holidays.We have only one or two weeks of holidays in July for Kids.The big holidays are in summer, of course (end of december until beggining of february).

    Filme B has top ten of the year in Reais. Maleficent will be number two easily and can be number one. It needs 8 million Reais to be number one, around 3,6 million Dollars. But in the end of its run movies loose a lot of screens, then it's possible but not easy.Noah (68,45 million Reais), Rio (63,97 million Reais), Captain América (63,211 million Reais) and Maleficent (60,54 million Reais) are the top 4 of the year.Then, it'll pass Rio 2 and Captain América 2 easily and can pass Noah.

    EOT is a good movie, but it is a cold movie.This explains why it failed in almost every place except SK, Rússia and China.

    Big drop from T3 (good). I saw that TF3 made 31 million first weekend (with previews, but anyway, much more).

    With 2,22 multiplier (like Rysu said) TF3 was front load for sure.
