Does it really matter when it opens in the US? It is going to do 700m+ OS. It will be bigger with OS alone than 90% animation movies released today. And I LOVE Scrat.
Minions is nort a 4-quadrant movie? Maybe its different in the US, but my freakin dad wants to see Minions and he hasn't seen a movie in theatres since Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Also, the same with my mom (although she goes more often to the cinema).
Thats somehow true. I liked Dance, really did, because it focuses more on Dany and she's my favourite character. But Feast was seriously boring at times, even though it has some nice (Cersei) moments.
Yeah, the early signs form Latin America are good and Im guessing Asia will also provide nice numbers so if it opens to round 60m for the 5 day weekend it should be fine.
Wow. I am amazed by how much I liked this. Pitt is good, as always, no surprise there, but Lerman... just wow. He was unbelivable. Great, great performance. And the score was so fitting.
A+
It doesn't need legs considering it will have a monster debut. A 3.1-3.2x multi would be enough. And that is low for an animation movie, especially one as well received as this one will be. If critics like it then the audiences will surely love it. I talked to a friend in UK a couple of days ago. She's 21 and she loved it.
