Seeing Asteroid City tomorrow night and Flash Saturday afternoon. The movies are back

How are Oppenheimer sales looking now that standard shows are up?

Correct but even in a 3 day opening I'm not sure it'd hit 70 with current buzz. Indy can still do it but it needs to save face and rebuild momentum. Rn I'm thinking 60M or so.

The movie is kissing 3 hours, not sure where you got that number from.

If The Flash doesn't do it, are we even going to have another 70M+ opener this summer?

Saw SV in a mostly full Dolby show late last night. I feel like the audience was unanimously enjoying it until the ending when half the theater erupted in anger

Fast is sharing some IMAXs with Little Mermaid, which was probably a mistake since my showing this afternoon has only sold like 30-40 seats vs the near sellouts for Little Mermaid...

The film is fantastic. Everyone's in for a treat this fall.

This is going to have great WOM and maybe better legs than the second based on my showing. The audience score is already at 96% on RT with 500+ ratings.

AIR will fully depend on how the rest of the field shakes out. It could be the contender Amazon wanted Thirteen Lives to be last year. Aside from Past Lives, we don't have anything from the first half of the year yet that has made a big contender splash.
