You can't use the numbers for anything except gauge whether there is hype, or there isn't. These trailer views means that there is certainly at least some sense of hype, somewhere. Will it blow up? Who knows, but the potential is there

There is room for costly TV shows but it has to justify itself. It has to be an event, it has to be worth it, and they can't rewrite half of it in the middle. For instance, had Eternals been a TV show, a massive $220M budget would 100% have made sense. Falcon and the Winter Soldier though? Where did the hell did the budget go? CGI on shades of grey? They have to plan these things better, and this is a step in the right direction

Jessica Henwick is awesome and by far the best part of Iron Fist so I hope that if they go forward with this, it's with her as the lead

I agree with your post in general but at the same time they can't really "wait and see" forever. Movies have to be written. They have to enter pre-production. They have to be filmed, and then go into post-production. All of this takes about 2 years from start to finish. You can't just wait forever. Waiting for 2025 to see what sticks before choosing where they're going next means nothing will be released in 2016 and possibly 2017 too. That is simply unacceptable for a public company with shareholders. It's not going to happen, basically.

Rogue was shafted so much in the X-Men movies. She is a great character that has immense potential. She's supposed to have a playful relationship with Gambit, fly around and just generally be proactive and really involved in things, not whatever the hell the X-Men movies made her to be. Hopefully they do her right this time around.

That's.... actually not a bad idea at all. It would simply be a logical continuation to the events happening in Doctor Strange 2, and Loki was the most popular MCU show anyway so it makes sense he would play a key role. The only issue is that this needs Dr.Doom (Secret Wars can't be made without Doom, that would be just extra dumb), and he hasn't been introduced yet, and he needs to be for it to work. edit: it's also doubly working because with the Multiverse, most people are criticizing the story for having no consequences. Multiverse = anything can happen, so it's boring. Well this storyline would affirm: Things HAVE consequences, Wanda and Strange messed up with the Multiverse in DS2 and now wwe have 2 universes fighting and it's happening only because of their actions. Consequences... which the MCU sorely needs right now.

Nobody cares about Kang Loki Season 2 handles all of that really well anyway. Marvel, get rid of this guy, and do something people actually want to see this time around Don't recast Kang. Don't do Kang. It's over.

Btw just saying but The Marvels hasn't ended its run yet. Disney have chosen not to report them but eventually numbers will trickle in. So it's not final yet. It should end its run just after new years, normally.

I still can't believe they never realized that Thor + Captain Marvel in the same movie would have been great. Both are cosmic side of the MCU, they have great chemistry together, it would have done very well at the box office. Likely like Thor 4 + a boost due to the team-up

Well this was equally as good as the first season. Marvel have some quality consistency issues lately but certainly not with Loki Ke Huy Quan and Owen Wilson are so good. 8/10

Yeah that's what worries me about Waldron. You have an ongoing universe here that's filled with moving parts and has been since 2008. You can't just drop everything you don't like about it. Doing so leads to a Last Jedi + Rise of Skywalker repeat.

Well it would certainly give credibility to my "if Dax was Kevin Feige" Marvel slate I posted a few pages back. I have a Scarlet Witch movie in there somewhere... 😂 I agree. Lots of people say it's because of the shows, and only because of that, but I think it's mostly because the characters are just uninteresting to the GA. So they don't even seek the shows out. If people WANT to watch something something, even if it's a TV show, they WILL. The lack of interest is precisely because of what you said: nobody cares about those characters.

Sam Raimi for avengers? Hmmmmmm It's at least exciting as a prospect for sure. Now whether it will work is another question entirely.

Every time I watch one of these I'm excited for the story and where it's going. And then I remember that the ST exists and none of it matters. Jesus... Will my woes ever end? They really struck gold with Sabine's actress. Like seriously, how can you find such a perfect blend of an actress to play this character? Even a black belt martial artist too? Perfect! And then they transform her into an annoying, undecisive plot device... goddamnit! My frustration is immeasurable and my day is ruined! So at first I liked this, but the more I think about it, the less it makes sense. I am glad that they tried something new a bit, there are some very interesting ideas in there, it finally feels like Star Wars, but at the same time, the writing is so random and disjointed... hard to enjoy it in the end because of that. Ahsoka is a terrible protagonist. She has literally no emotion. Whether it's intended or not doesn't matter: it's the end result that counts. And she comes across as GLACIAL. Bad idea. Anakin!!! 🥰🥰 Loved seeing him again. Happy to see Jedi kick ass again. It's been so long... the action was directed okay (or at least, the choreography was), but it lacked stakes. The characters came out of high-threat situations way too easily. I am beyond excited for The Acolyte. Finally, something... else! If it's terrible though... not sure I'll be sticking around for this Filoni-verse that I want no part with. Clearly, telling actual good, coherent stories is not something they're good at. I never really fully recovered from episode IX to be honest.

I'm one of those weirdoes that loved Eternals (I think it's their best post-endgame movie so far LMAO, so I'm really happy about this if it's true). I gave it a 9/10 But it's still confusing because the reason they stated contradicts itself.
