  1. The Star Wars subreddit mods are brain-dead Lucasfilm are currently on stage announcing stuff and they don't even have a thread up. All new submissions are set to "moderate first", so there's literally nothing on the sub right now regarding this. Genius
  2. People read whatever they wanna read these days, the actual words written in the article be damned.
  3. a bit late as I was on vacation sleeping in my car in nature for 10 days (and it was amazing) but 2 things: 1. The Apartment going up that much, YES!! Such an amazing movie... and I'm doing my part spreading the love. Everyone I showed it to falls in love with it, if not at first watch, then because it doesn't leave their minds.... you know, memory-wise 2. Fellow #1 voter for FOTR reporting for duty here, you're welcome The Matrix also went up considerably, wow Thanks PANDA for making this list as usual
  4. oh yeah Pan's Labyrinth! Top 10 vote here. What I love the most about the movie is how unique it is. There really aren't a lot of Dark Fantasy War Drama Fairy Tale movies about fascism out there... like really not a lot. Perhaps even only one. Guillermo Del Toro really crafted something one of a kind, regardless of how you feel about it.
  5. A.I. made the top? Holy shit Does that mean Spielberg will have like... 7 entries on the list?
  6. I think it will look better than regular 2035 tent-poles. CGI has sort-of hit its stride. Now the difference between good CGI and bad CGI isn't year of release, it's laziness. They have the means to make the best-looking, most-convincing CGI now. The only issue is... will they? It's slower, more expensive, and most people don't give a shit. So they don't. But James Cameron will once again prove that they should.
  7. Yep, this looks good, somehow possibly the best Star Wars series yet even though I have no idea why they greenlit this. I guess this is why. Also, Stellan Skarsgård... Yes. Always yes.
  8. This has the potential to be either a pointless trainwreck or a breath of fresh air compared to other recent MCU stuff I guess we'll see. I'm in though, love Kathryn Hahn Also, perhaps there could be a Wanda cameo in this? Who knows. It would fit
  9. Wes Craven's NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET doesn't even get to #200 and yet Wes Craven's SCREAM makes the top 100? Jesus guys c'mon. This isn't a simulation
  10. Davy Jones looks better than most (if not all of) CGI today. Truly an achievement in visual effects. Also, great movie in its own rights too, underrated critically for sure.
  11. Dude I know everyone's gonna have a hard-on for your list because it's old movies but aside from the top 20 it's literally in release order. Literally all bottom 80 movies are in release year order. Are you giving equal points to them or something? That's the only way I would see this making sense. I know it's everyone's business but you can't tell me that your appreciation of all 80 of those movies is perfectly, directly and 100% correlated to, AND inversely proportional to the year they were released... to the T? Edit: Aaaaand the top 20 is also in release order, except in its own bubble. My suggestion: give equal points to those movies. Equal points to each of the top 20, equal points to each of the bottom 80
