I feel for you if you feel this way. I think there's a great amount of movies coming up (and already being out) worth watching. I don't think movies get worse, I think people get more and more dissatisfied overall in life and what's been a solid 6/10 10 years ago gets slaughtered on Twitter nowadays. -
So with everybody falling in love with Moana. Where did the early buzz of a mediocre movie come from? It happens now with every 2nd movie. It killed Ghostbusters, it's about to kill Passengers. They tried it with Moana. I'm really to starting to ask, if this is a studio war including social bots. I feel like it's getting worse and worse. Social Media is so full of negativity.

I think it had a quite decent OD in France where it might be looking at more than 1m admissions.

I think they are too low for Allied. I think it will end up in th $18m-$20m range for the 5D.

So this is the first day FB is only doing "expected" numbers instead of slightly better than expected. Of course it had slightly better competition than MJ1 and MJ2. Also, it might hold better on TG for the fact that it might be skewing older.

Moana and FB are now neck to neck over at MT. If FB could reach 12m, that would be absolutely fabulous.

While this is a great, no, amazing number, keep in mind, that Frozen might have boosted the Disney-Princess-Genre quite a bit in terms of better must-see scores.

The Minions were the reason for DMs success from the start. They were the first thing poeple saw in the advertisements. Have you seen Harry, Ron and Hermione hiding somewhere in Fantastic Beasts?

There's actually 9 guys and 2 half guys on the picture. Would be even more awesome. But 9m is right in line with expectations.

This might be a tough sell to the GA. Probably appeals to a much different audience compared to his last couple of movies. If he can get the christian community to see this, it might get a win, otherwise it could end up as one of his lower grossing movies in recent history.

Those are Billion Dollar Sequels, not Prequels (and you can't even call FB that, because there is no connection to what happens in Harry Potter), with numbers, FB was never supposed to achieve to start with. They overperformed everywhere. FB in Greece is not exceptionally worse compared to other countries. FB is just no Harry Potter. Everywhere. But it's doing half a Potter or slightly better in Europe.

You got something wrong there with your numbers. Following MJ2 would mean: Tuesday: 9.0 Wed: 10.8 Thur: 8.2 Friday: 16,8 Saturday: 16.0 Sun: 8.3 69,1m total Following MJ1: Tuesday: 9.1 Wed: 11.0 Thur: 8.3 Friday: 18.2 Saturday: 16.6 Sun: 8.1 71,3 total 60m over the 5d should be the mark.

Your interpretation of horrendous is extraordinary. It opened on par with Dr. Strange. Greece lost a lot of admissions in the last couple of years for obvious reasons. And it's not Harry Potter in the rest of Europe either.

Deadline is having this at $9,7m. That can't be right, can it? With Dr. Stranges average ticketprice, this would translate to 1,25m admissions. That would be crazy after the muted OD.

And once again i'm confused at how much energy some people waste in repeatedly telling their opinion about a movie they didn't like at all. I might be repeating myself, but this mentality is making the world the crazy place it became in the last couple of months...

If FB somehow could manage, what MJ2 did over TG last year, it would be a great step in the right direction for the movie.
